Shipping, Returns, & Order Cancellation

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail/phone.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

 

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will typically ship out within 2-3 business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 48 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address your provide when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at orders@homebarselect.com

 

Damages:

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If the item is very damaged DO NOT accept delivery.  If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please send photos to orders@homebarselect.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. Also, make a note on the delivery receipt.

Please make sure you report damages and/or defects within 48 hours of receipt.

 

 

Cancellations & Refunds:

All orders cancelled after 12 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped.  If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for all shipping charges. There will also be a 20% restocking fee. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.

 

 

 

 

Fire Pit Art:

What are typical shipping & processing times?

Order processing time is typically 5-7 business days, but spring is our busiest time of year and we are running 15-20 days dependent on the piece that’s being created.

Delivery times are typically 5-14 business days.

 

Warranty & Returns

All fire pit components excluding gas components are warranted for a period of 10 years after date of purchase by the original owner.

Any returns sent back must be sent via prepaid freight and in the original retail packaging within 30 days. Customers will be responsible for return shipping. Initial shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. 

Proof of purchase will be required before warranty service is rendered.  The sales receipt is the only valid proof of purchase. 

Artisan Spark Guard Warranty

Fire Pit Art® Artisan Spark Guards are handcrafted to fit Fire Pit Art® and no returns are accepted if they are purchased to fit any other product except Fire Pit Art.  All though we use a very heavy mesh screen it is susceptible to the high direct heat of the fire pit.  Longevity is determined by the frequency and intensity of the fires and will be different for every user. 

Although it may rust the fire screen material is guaranteed for sixty days against failure, the framework is guaranteed for ten years with proof of purchase and would be shipped back prepaid to Fire Pit Art.

Although we do not get returns, please feel free to call or email at any time if you should have questions before or after your purchase. It is our belief that our fire pits will be passed along for generations and decades to come. Enjoy!

Chicago Brick Oven:

What are typical shipping & processing times?

Oven orders are processed within 2 to 5 business days of ordering. 

Parts take between 3 to 14 business days to process, while accessories typically ship the next business day.

Delivery times are from 3-14  business days.

What are the return policies for buyer's remorse, damaged in transit, and defective items?

Because each Chicago Brick Oven is custom-built, ALL OVEN SALES ARE FINAL (NO RETURNS)

We do accept returns on cooking accessories and parts within 30 days of the customer's receipt.

To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Once your cooking accessories or parts return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, generally within five (5) business days depending on your bank's operating guidelines.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular-priced items may be refunded; unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We will replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@chicagobrickoven.com and send your item to: 1020 Davey Rd, Woodridge Illinois US 60517.

Shipping

To return your cooking accessories or parts, you should mail your item(s) to: 1020 Davey Rd, Woodridge Illinois US 60517. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

What are typical shipping & processing times?

Order processing time is 2-3 business days if the item is in stock. 

Delivery takes 3-14 business days.

 

What are the return policies for buyer's remorse, damaged in transit, and defective items?

Buyer's remorse: No buyer's remorse returns.

Damages on shipping are on a case by case basis. Make note of any damages on the delivery receipt in order to get a replacement piece or unit if warranted.

Defective items will be replaced. Item must be unused and in it's original packaging. The package will assessed upon receipt. If it's in acceptable condition, the customer will receive a refund/ new unit.
